摘要
This paper presents the design of a high-stability, five-axis mirror system for the offset mirror system of FEL-II at The Shanghai High repetition rate XFEL and Extreme light facility (SHINE). To meet the demanding stability requirement of 10 nrad order for the FEL beamline, a six-strut parallel kinematic mirror system was developed achieving stability up to 30 nrad in the pitch direction. The design of the system incorporates a suspended mirror support frame, flexure hinges, and the lightweight design strategy. High-precision control, with a resolution of 75nrad and a repeatability of 30 nrad, was achieved using a piezoelectric actuator. In addition, finite element simulation was employed to conduct the kinematic analysis, to calculate the motion deviations, and to assess the strength of the flexure hinges in the adjustment mechanism. Furthermore, testing was carried out to validate both the high-precision adjustment and stability of the system. The innovative design features, combined with the analysis and testing conducted during the development, confirm the system's feasibility and performance.
