摘要
CTP and CTA are complementary diagnostic imaging tools for acute ischemic stroke, typically employed in tandem, but their combined use prolongs examination time and increases radiation exposure and contrast agent dosage. This study proposes a new method based on move contrast imaging to extract 4D vascular morphological information from CTP scans alone. Results show the method significantly reduces spurious noise, enhances vascular morphology details, improves contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR), and boosts visibility of small vessels while eliminating interference from bone, calcified plaques, and motion artifacts. Clinically, in stroke, this approach relies solely on CTP data to evaluate the characteristics of collateral circulation, as well as the density and functional status of small vessels, eliminating the need for additional scans. Thereby, the proposed method streamlines diagnosis and enhances confidence in treatment decisions.
