摘要
Located in Zhangjiang High-tech Park, the Shanghai Advanced Research Institute hosts three major scientific facilities: two operational facilities, namely, the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF) and the Shanghai Soft X-ray Free Electron Laser Facility (SXFEL), and one under construction, the Hard X-ray Free Electron Laser Facility (SHINE). The SSRF is a circular synchrotron radiation source facility that includes an S-band injector with a final energy of 120 MeV, an energy booster raising the energy to 3.5 GeV, and a storage ring for the electron beam. The SXFEL employs both S- and C-band normal-conducting accelerating technology, supplemented by X-band components for beam linearization (an X-band accelerating unit) and diagnostics (X-band deflecting cavities). The SHINE facility utilizes superconducting acceleration technology, with each FEL line incorporating an X-band deflecting cavity unit as a critical diagnostic tool.
