在上海光源科学中心从事大科学装置中测量、控制等核心技术的研发工作。在国家重大基础科学设施项目、上海市战略性重大项目、国际大科学工程“交钥匙”项目中担任关键系统的负责人。在高精度束流探测、超低误差剂量控制、快速机器联锁保护、高稳定度定时同步等领域做出了一系列国际先进并具有国家自主知识产权的研究与应用成果。

在国家“十二五”重大科学基础设施建设项目“上海光源线站工程”中担任轨道快反馈系统负责人、上海市战略性新兴产业重大项目“首台国产质子治疗示范装置研制项目”中担任治疗控制系统负责人、国际合作“交钥匙”项目“巴西Sirius光源直线加速器整机工程”中担任定时系统负责人、国家自然科学基金“亚皮秒精度定时系统研究”中担任项目负责人等。
